HOW IT WORKS

Connection in three steps

Connect a supported AI tool and approve the permissions and trading settings you need.

    Select CoinRF MCP in your AI tool

    Register the official MCP endpoint in a supported client such as Codex, ChatGPT, or Claude.

    Sign in and grant permissions at CoinRF

    Choose the account to connect and the permissions you want to grant.

    Use tools only when needed

    AI calls only approved capabilities, and execution actions proceed only after member confirmation.

Client setup is available below. Availability depends on app version, plan and administrator policy. Verify member authentication and reads after connecting.

  1. In Codex MCP settings, add coinrf with Streamable HTTP and the URL below. Alternatively, run the CLI commands in order.
  2. For member reads, use Authenticate or CLI login to sign in and consent at CoinRF. Check tools with /mcp.

ChatGPTConnection setup
  1. On ChatGPT web, enable Developer mode in Settings → Security and login. If unavailable, check account and administrator policies.
  2. In Plugins, use + to create a developer-mode app named CoinRF with the MCP URL below and OAuth. Select DCR if a registration choice is offered.
  3. Complete CoinRF sign-in and consent, then enable the app in the conversation tools. The button opens settings; it does not auto-register or install a store-listed app.

ClaudeConnection setup
  1. In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors → + → Add custom connector.
  2. Enter CoinRF and the MCP URL below. Leave optional OAuth client ID and secret empty unless separately issued.
  3. Connect, complete CoinRF sign-in and consent, and enable the connector in your conversation. Organization accounts may require an owner to add it.

  1. Use the button to open the VS Code installation confirmation, or choose HTTP and the URL below in MCP: Add Server.
  2. Review and start the server. Complete CoinRF sign-in and consent when a member read requests authentication.
  3. For manual setup, merge this JSON into .vscode/mcp.json. Check MCP: List Servers and enable coinrf in chat tools.

Check your connection

Test a public price first, then request your balances and complete sign-in and consent when prompted. Member reads need a connected Binance API with read permissions.

Use CoinRF market_get_ticker to get the BTCUSDT price.

Use CoinRF member_get_balance to read my spot balances.

Access tokens last up to 24 hours. Trading requires explicit OAuth trade scopes, member-approved markets, USDT symbols and per-order notional limits, plus confirmation of each request. Read-only connections are never automatically upgraded. Never share passwords, API keys or tokens with AI. Leverage changes, deposits, withdrawals and transfers are not supported.

Frequently asked questions

Can I connect MCP right now?

Yes. Public market data is available, and member balances and futures positions require login and consent. Read connections last 24 hours and can be revoked.

Can AI place orders on my account without permission?

No. An agent proposes trading settings for you to approve on CoinRF. Setting changes and each order require confirmation. Requests outside your approved limits are blocked.

Do I need to give an AI my exchange API key?

No. The service is designed so API secrets and member authentication data are never exposed in an AI chat or MCP response.
